The Ephialtes
The abode. The only one in the entire area, sat on the crest of a low valley. In this two-storeyed duplex resided a couple – Rohan and Rhythm. They set up their dream house in the outskirts of the city where they could catch the view of fields of cotton dotted with flowers, a turquoise crystal clear lake with a bench near by, many baya weaver nests dangling from the twigs of trees and holy worshipping places too.

The Adventure
We ambled through the forest,
Footsteps quiet as the night;
Shadows haunted the scenery,
As we waited for the light.
Book Review – Dear Earth
The Earth is a beautiful home that cares for us like no other. In return, we have to give it the same love that the Earth gives us. This is the basic premise of ‘Dear Earth’ by Avvaiyar. The poem is like a plea that one can not escape. The author showcases a pen’s power in only 25 words. The poem provides for hours of thinking after the first read. The illustrations done by Murali Nagaphuza complement the piece beautifully and are enticing.
Common Sense
Imagine a bright and sunny day,
And you are imagining your way;
Now, here comes the disturbance,
Some questions, which make no sense.

The Artist Within Me
Animals controlling farms,
Lions going to the barber;
The artist within me can make me laugh,
And take me to places even farther.
