Once upon a time, there lived a kingdom called the Bright Candy Kingdom. In it lived a sweet little princess named Sugar. Sugar loved to bake. Her mean stepmother, the Chili Queen, who was forced to stay with Sugar in the kingdom, hated sweets and wanted everyone to eat spicy food instead.

“Gummies, gummies, on the wall, who makes the sweetest treats of all?” the Queen asked her magic talking TV.

The TV buzzed, “Sugar Princess’s choco cookies are the best in the land!”

Furious, the Queen banished Sugar into the Sparkle Forest.

There, Sugar found a tiny gingerbread house inhabited by seven friendly munchkins. The munchkins — Happy, Sleepy, Yappy, Floppy, Spotty, Tiny and Rex — shared their candy with her.

The angry Queen disguised herself as a lollipop seller and gave the princess a super-sour version. Sugar took one bite, changed through ten different emotions in one minute and fell into a deep, sugary sleep.

The munchkins tucked her into a beautiful bed made of clear, shiny ice pops. Soon, a cheerful young prince on a skateboard zipped through the woods. He shared his favourite popping-candy jello with everyone, accidentally dropping a drop on Sugar’s rosy-white cheek.

The fizzy candy tickled her nose so much that she sneezed.

“ACHOO!”

Sugar woke right up. The sour candy taste was gone, and she thanked the prince and her munchkin friends with a giant hug.

Together, they opened a sweet bakery and lived happily and sweetly ever after.
