When we were going to a 5-star restaurant with gleaming lights, we stepped carefully on the rocky pavement. As we entered, I caught the sudden smell of butter hanging in the air. We ordered pizza and ice cream separately. The waiter brought both at the same time and accidentally dropped the ice cream on the pizza!

I couldn’t get the stain off, so I just shrugged, blended it in, and ate the pizza with the gooey ice cream on top. The waiter said I could re-order it if I wanted. I said, “Nah, we got it.” He laughed and said, “Okay, thanks.”

We ended up eating the pizza with the chocolate ice cream on it, and honestly, the cold, creamy scoop melting into the crispy crust and mozzarella was unexpectedly delicious. I gobbled it down, took another slice, and kept eating while my mom started lecturing me about chewing properly and not just swallowing everything whole. Before we left, I recommended they add it to their official menu.
